D3 is the youth ministry here at OBBC for students in grades 6-12. This program places a focus on 3 key concepts, Discovering Christ, Discerning Truth, and Disciple Building.

Our Mission

Our ministry focuses on 3 main concepts:
  • Discovering Christ: This is accomplished by intentionally sharing the Gospel at every event and gathering we are a part of. Whether it's a normal Wednesday night meeting or a community event, the Gospel is presented, and students are given the opportunity to receive and respond to the love of Christ.
  • Discerning Truth: This is done through intentional Bible study. Students aren't just encouraged to read the Scripture but to engage with it. Reading with a purpose to understand context, answer the questions of who, what, when, why, and where. We do not pull parts of Scripture to fit the narrative but understand the text surrounding it to understand the big picture.
  • Disciple Building: To achieve this, we are intentional in our planning and participation. We organize events, attend rallies, seek missions, and engage the community through activities and programs that allow the students to not just experience God but allows them to share their faith and be a reflection of Christ to others. Activities should allow the students opportunities to build relationships. These relationships are not just with one another but with the church, the community, their families and most importantly with God.

Sunday School

We come together every Sunday morning during the Sunday school hour at 10:00am. Come grab a coffee and a doughnut and hang out with us as we work through the Bible utilizing The Gospel Project curriculum.

Light the Night Gatherings

We consistently attend the Light the Night gatherings throughout the year. These are youth rallies with other churches from around the area. Here you will find food, fellowship, fun, worship, and most importantly a Gospel presentation. These typically take place on Thursday nights around 6:00pm and you will find them on our D3 calendar, so you'll know exactly when they're coming up.

Just for the Girls

God's Young Ladies

God's Young Ladies is for girls in grades 5-12. They meet every other Friday during the school year. They have a time of sharing, a lesson, prayer, crafts and a snack. They focus on issues that girls face and what the Bible says about dealing with them. Come and join us and bring a friend! Questions: Please call the church office and leave a message for

Just for the Boys

Trail Life USA (Coming Soon)

We are working on starting a Trail Life USA troop right here at OBBC. This Christ centered, boy oriented program will give boys ages 5-17 the opportunities of maturing in their faith and developing themselves into Biblically masculine men while enjoying and interacting with God's amazing created world outdoors.
